Building Strong Foundations (CIPP)

At Sharjah Public School, our Primary Section is more than just classrooms and lessons, it’s where young minds begin to discover who they are and what they can become. Through the British curriculum, we create a dynamic and interactive learning environment that sparks curiosity, builds confidence, and encourages independent thinking. From foundational literacy and numeracy to inquiry-based science and expressive arts, each child is guided to explore their strengths and passions. With caring teachers and a focus on values, we shape learners who are not only academically strong but also kind, resilient, and ready to lead in a global world.

At our school, the Cambridge International Primary Curriculum provides a comprehensive framework designed to support high-quality teaching in English, Mathematics, and Science for young learners. The curriculum emphasizes a strong foundation in core subjects, ensuring a smooth academic progression.

To monitor and support student development, Cambridge Primary Progression Tests are administered during the final four years of primary education. These assessments enable teachers and parents to track each student’s academic growth over time and to evaluate performance against international benchmarks.

At the conclusion of primary education, students undertake the Cambridge Primary Checkpoint Examinations. These are externally moderated by Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE), ensuring global standards of assessment. Students who complete these examinations receive Certificates of Achievement, recognizing their academic accomplishments and readiness for the next stage of learning.
